The litany of excuses (serious, he used all of these):
- I have to go potty.
- I need to blow my nose.
- I have to go potty (5 minutes since last trip).
- I need some water.
- I needed to build a ramp onto my bed to get into it.
- My owie hurts.
- My band-aide is stuck to the sheets.
- My bed is broken (i.e. my blanket isn't straight).
- I need to blow my nose, again.
- I think my big boy bed is too much for me, I want to sleep in my crib.
He gave it a good try. We'll see how tomorrow night goes.

haha - so funny to hear the same things happening in all households!!! cora wanted one more hug and kiss, and a kiss for mommy, daddy, cora, and molly. thirsty. needed a band-aid. needed a blanket. needed shorts, because her legs were cold (?). wanted to ask a question, no not with mommy in the doorway, but by her bed. and said question turned into a make-believe story of ramblings about her friends. oh, and she can go to sleep by herself when she is bigger, but she is not big so she can't sleep by herself now. :)
