Friday was supposed to be half day of school and the start of Christmas break, but we woke up to snow and the message that school was cancelled. Daniel was sad--his class was scheduled to have their Christmas party that day--but quickly recovered when he realized that a day off could be just as fun. Especially when all of the neighbor kids are outside playing in the snow together. It was a nice morning. We bundled up and played outside for a bit, then spent the rest of the morning across the street having cocoa and treats with our neighborhood friends.
